The old Caravans are easy to fit with roof top tents, just fit aftermarket crossbars that use towers to fit in the raingutters. Fortunately when Dodge did away with raingutters they introduced an excellent factory rack rated at 150 pounds. The Durango, for example, uses two crossbars with either Thule's excellent Tracker II system or Yakima's Railrider system. A great combination for traveling - highways OR backroads. |
