Largely due to the demand from North America, the Columbus Variant is being offered in an extra-long version. This option is available on with the Columbus Variant small and medium sized tents, and offers an additional eight inches of sleeping comfort. The slim, aerodynamic fiberglass shell of the Columbus Variant is made high quality fiberglass—laid up by hand in the AutoHome factory. The result is a smooth, washable, easily maintained exterior that will last for many years of hard use. Tough and long-lasting, this design appeals for another reason—it is dust and waterproof, and offers minimal air resistance while traveling. Your bedding remains inside the Columbus (protected from dust and weather) when traveling, and is ready as soon as you open the tent.
